Chowk(junction) near charminar in hyderabad is famous for various bird sellers. They supply birds to different states and also provide for film shootings & functions. When there is business, It is very lucrative for the people involved. Unfortunately for the birds, it is horrible for being confined in a small area.

It is sad that these beautiful birds will never truly enjoy freedom.
Most of their lifetime, they are kept in cages, which are generally too small for them.
There was a government ban on birds trading but it was lifted after protests from traders. This is a scene at one of the breeder's place.

People lose its nest from our trees, drive away the species in construction building and in wish caring them in cage in name of I love birds. There feather and wings are to let free in air, very sad they are bind not. Nice pictures shurrow. :)
Very true jeevan. only some people care for these birds, many use them for their entertainment. I don't like caged animals.
This is the kind of thing that breaks my heart more than anything else. I don't understand the world sometimes.
when earning money is paramount i guess we don't care how we earn it. there are also some people who buy these birds and set them free.
